By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Receptify Android app or receptify.dev website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.
1. Service overview
Receptify is a personal expense and receipt organization tool. Features may include expense entry, receipt attachments, categories, budgets, insights, supported Wallet notification capture, and Google Drive synchronization. Available features may vary by version, device, and region.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or legal guardian, and have the legal capacity to agree to these Terms.
3. User responsibilities
- Use the app and website lawfully and in good faith.
- Maintain the security of your device, Google account, and decryption password.
- Review receipt parsing, categories, amounts, and other automatically generated content.
- Maintain necessary backups and verify information used for tax, reimbursement, or other purposes.
4. Data storage, ownership, and risk
You retain ownership and control of your information. Receptify's synchronization design relies on your own Google Drive. Receptify cannot recover information that has been deleted, lost, cannot be decrypted, or becomes inaccessible because of an account issue.
Availability may be affected by Google services, network conditions, device problems, synchronization errors, user actions, or other circumstances outside Receptify's control.
5. Receipt parsing and optional AI features
The app may provide on-device text recognition or optional AI-assisted features. Automatically extracted or generated results may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable. Users must review the results.
6. Third-party services
Receptify may rely on Google Drive, Google Identity, Google Wallet, and other platform services. Those services operate under their own terms. Receptify does not guarantee that third-party services will remain available or unchanged.
7. No financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice
Receptify is an organizational tool only. It does not provide financial, tax, accounting, or legal advice. Users are responsible for verifying information and consulting a qualified professional when appropriate.
8. Pricing and future Premium features
The app is currently free and does not offer a Premium subscription. Receptify may introduce paid features, subscriptions, or in-app purchases in the future. Features, pricing, and payment terms will be disclosed before purchase and will follow applicable Google Play billing requirements.
Pricing and willingness-to-pay questions on the website are product research only. Selecting a response is not an order, reservation, purchase commitment, or payment authorization, and no charge is created.
9. Changes to the service
Features may be added, changed, suspended, or discontinued. These Terms may also be updated. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the app and website are provided “as is” and “as available,” without a guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Receptify is not liable for data loss, financial loss, tax or reimbursement errors, or indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
